What should I wear to my first class?
Comfortable athletic clothing that allows for movement. We recommend a t-shirt and athletic shorts or sweatpants. You'll train barefoot, so no special footwear is needed.
Do I need any equipment to start?
No equipment is needed for your trial class. Once you decide to join, we'll provide a list of recommended gear, including a uniform (gi) and protective equipment.
How long does it take to earn a black belt?
The journey to black belt typically takes 4-6 years with consistent training. However, the focus should be on personal growth and skill development rather than just rank advancement.
Is karate safe for children?
Yes! Our classes emphasize control, respect, and safety. Children learn proper techniques gradually and practice with appropriate protective gear when needed.
